I saw the movie ‘Rab Ne Bani Di Jodi’ today after a huge argument with Kelly. I was so pissed off that I went alone and sat with my phone switched off.
I loved the movie. It was a poignant love story between a man and his wife who are totally different from each other.
In the movie, the actress is asked what do women want. And she replies that ‘a woman just wants a man who’ll love her more than anybody or anything else’.
Wow! Never before has anyone put this answer so simply or so accurately. Ever!
We all are looking for the man who’ll love us, truly, more than even himself. That’s our ultimate pursuit.
Yes, we have become career oriented, ramming through this tough world, making sure that we get what we deserve. And we feel that we’ve succeeded in side stepping what we really want – pure love. Maybe because we feel that this is one thing that we may never be able to achieve.
But a few extremely lucky ones manage to find their 'Man'.
And a lot of others ‘think’ they’ve found theirs too. They carry on living cocooned in their cozy little make believe world until suddenly it crashes. The fact that they were too blind and too naive to spot the difference between the real thing and the not-so real thing hits them in the face.
At that moment, the ache that starts from deep inside the heart, then spreads to the chest tightening it, travels up the wind pipe choking you, goes up to your eyes filling them with tears and finally to your head- that’s something nobody can explain completely. And when the heart and the head start hurting at the same time, nothing can stop the flood of tears, not even the happiest thought in the world.
Ask all the women who’ve been hit by that reality. The ache lingers on inside them forever. They continue to live on and grow old. But that ache inside them, the knowledge that they’ve not found their true love, doesn’t grow old or fade away. It carries on living inside their heart like an unsung song, like a virus that never leaves the body, like a dream that couldn’t be realized.
An immortal ache inside a mortal. Thats the most unfair thing!

God or Charles?
A friend of mine wrote - " Perhaps, man is but a mere ant to God."
What if that's true?
What if we are nothing to him except just a creation, one little part of his overall plan, blended into the background with everything else and left there to fend for ourselves.
He created us, thats the end of his job. What we are, what we've made of ourselves, how we live, what happens to us, is none of his concern.
Then how can we call him our saviour and why should we pray to the unknown??
Where is God when people are being slaughtered, when little children are being traumatised?
Where was God during genocide?? Where is He when men are playing God?
He's absconding. God's abandoned us. God has left the building.
Or maybe there is no God and Charles Darwin was damn right with his evolution theory.

Bloody terrorists! They deserve a fitting reply.
I'm so angry with these militants. They keep targetting innocent people again and again. And they call it jihad!!
Holy war?!! What's holy about it?
They create their militant outfits, recruiting their youth, to kill and terrorise the world. They decide whether we live or die!
So, why can't we create anti-militant outfits, recruit the willing people, club them with experienced officers and go after these terrorists.
We won't have the excuse of being short-staffed then. I'm sure lots of people like me, who are equally fed up with these dirty rats, are willing to fight for their country.
We need to retaliate in their way, their language. Then only they'll understand. Otherwise we'll keep getting victimised again and again.
As it is our days are numbered. We all will die someday. But I refuse to die as a victim.
If I ever get the oppurtunity to play a role in squashing these militants i will consider my life well lived and die a proud human.

God?!
Who is God? Or what is this God exactly??
Does he live in some far away planet in this gigantic universe, looking over us, watching us and logging all our lives in his super computer so that when we die and stand in front of him, he'll bring out the charge sheet and give out the verdict.
Sounds more like a surveillance agent of an insurance company and a judge rolled into one!
My question is, is there really a God? If yes then how come we have so many Gods?
There's the Christian God, the Islamic God, the Hindu Gods, the Greek Gods and so many more i've probably never even heard of.
Have all these Gods mutually decided amongst themselves which section of people they are going to Lord over? Just like our politicians and leaders, divide and rule!
The best part is that we all, the people, have truly fallen for this.
Since birth the 'God' figure is shoved into our heads. And everytime we try to question it we are warned about the wrath of God and the pariah treatment of non-believers. So we follow meekly, much like the sheep in the herd who wants to know where it's headed.
The world has advanced so much, technologically and spiritually. Yet we are stuck in the same old rut.
Now, lets not confuse spirituality with God.
Spirituality is being in sync with yourself, understanding what is deep down inside you and making peace with it.
So, many of us have yet to come to terms with our own self. It's not easy! Some don't achieve it in one lifetime.
My view is that God is a man-made creation started by some wise men ages ago, to make sure that everyone toes the line. But it's fallen into the wrong hands now. The whole idea is being misused by different groups for their selfish needs.
The sooner everyone realises this, the better for the world!

Time - A Mystery!
Time's such a mysterious thing. Don't think anybody can define it completely, atleast not in scientific terms.
Can u imagine, when half the world's starting a new day, people in other half of the world are sleeping and still in the old day.
Where do all the days go? Where does all this time go??
Yeah I know it all becomes past, history. But in this vast universe all the spent time must be going somewhere. It must be getting stored in some folder for later reference.
Sometimes i feel that time doesn't go anywhere. It completes one cycle and starts all over again. So, whatever's taken place is in an alternate world which is parallel to today. But the events of yesterday are still happening in that parallel past. Which means we've millions, infact billions, of parallel 'yesterday' time circles within today's time circle. Just like our Earth with many many layers and cores inside it. Every 'today' will form the top layer.
If we go by this theory, then we should be able to dig down to the layer below and other time layers much much below.
The time layers (past) from millions of years ago are what's forming the core of this circle. And that is what is acting as the gravitional force. Maybe this is why we are not able to let go of the past or forget it easily. Because of the time gravity.
God! It's not easy putting such complicated thoughts into words. And I just have so many words! Not enough to explain what's in my head.
Maybe it'll all become clear one day.
